WHAT IS CBD?

CBD is one of many cannabidiols: chemical compounds that occur naturally in cannabis and hemp plants. CBD is the cannabinoid most associated with the healing properties of these plants. It helps moderate a number of functions and processes in your body, and it is a non-psychoactive regulator of your body.

WHO SHOULD TAKE CBD?

Every single mammal can benefit from CBD. In fact, mammals are built to receive it.

Just as our bodies have a circulatory system and an immune system, we have what is called the endocannabinoid system (commonly referred to as ECS). It’s a system of receptors whose sole purpose is to receive cannabinoids to help cells function at peak performance.

You can find cannabinoid receptors in the nerve and lymphatic tissue, lung, liver, intestine, kidney, and spleen. If you’d like to read more about the ECS, check out this excellent article from Leafly.

Endocannabinoid System

The human body is built to receive all cannabinoids, including CBD, the one with the most healing properties associated with it. There are receptors located throughout the body, primarily in the brain and nervous system, called the Endocannabinoid System, or ECS. The endocannabinoid system regulates other systems in the body including the immune system. When CBD binds with receptors, it produces a physiological affect in how we process pain, mood, memory, and appetite. Oh, and by the way, we have more endocannabinoid receptors than opioid receptors, so using hemp to treat pain, inflammation, anxiety, and more certainly makes more sense.

So what do all those receptors do? They enforce our natural ability to reach homeostasis. When your body is in a state of dis-ease, your ECS system can help if you feed it.

BENEFITS OF CBD

CBD is looking to bring your mind and body to homeostasis. It goes where it needs to go. Some of CBD’s more popular uses include being a natural anti-inflammatory, a non-habit-forming sleep-aid, a natural painkiller for chronic pain, and a natural immune booster.

Inflammation is the shared symptom of a vast number of ailments, issues, or challenges. It is the root of most physiological, biological, emotional, and mental issues. Essentially, the immune system becomes inflamed and attacks. CBD is a potent and natural anti-inflammatory. However, that’s not all it does. While there are tons of cannabinoids found in hemp, you can see below that CBD has by far the most healing properties.

The benefits of using CBD

Just as exercise, massage, acupuncture, yoga, meditation, and more connect the mind and body, so does CBD. It binds with receptors in your brain and throughout the rest of your body. What you will feel can range from complete loss of pain to a lessening of any heightened state you may be in that is causing discomfort.

CBD has no known side effects. Recommended dosages cans safely be adjusted based on your body’s response. Like any supplement, start small and increase as you see fit.

TESTIMONIAL

“Hands down the best product to add to your inventory. I can’t keep it in stock! The success we have had at our yoga studio has been phenomenal. Students have said that in just one month, they have eliminated joint pain, stopped using a prescription medication, or felt calmer and less reactive. I strongly recommend having CBD at your studio or business.”

MYTH VS. FACT

MYTH

FACT

You can get high from CBD.

It’s impossible to get “high” from CBD. In fact, it’s often used as a counter to THC to bring people down from highs.

CBD is illegal in my state.

Everything we carry is legal to be sold in all 50 states because our products are derived from hemp grown in the United States, protected by and adhering to the Farm Bill, making it absolutely legal. When you buy CBD from us, you know where our hemp is grown, and we have the third-party test results of all our products to ensure compliance.

CBD tastes bad.

While individual tastes vary, the CBD oils we carry either have virtually no taste or are infused with flavored terpenes. Our edibles are infused with CBD, so you may notice a more earthy flavor in some, but most people find the edibles to be delicious.

You can only get CBD through an oil.

You can consume CBD in a number of ways. We carry topicals such as creams and massage oil, capsules, gummies, tinctures, and more.

LEGALITIES

All of the CBD products sold through us are sourced from domestically grown industrial hemp. The Farm Bill allows for hemp oil produced from industrial grown hemp to be sold across state lines.

Not all CBD is created equal. In addition to quality, legality is a major concern for all consumers and retailers. If you are not sure about where your products are deriving their CBD oil, you will need to take a step back and ask some questions before purchasing.

Because of the federal restrictions around hemp and cannabis, the FDA has not evaluated any of the statements made. Always consult a doctor before modifying your diet or using any new products. The products sold at Alias Cann are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Underage sales are prohibited.

FAQs

How does carrying CBD make sense to me and my business?

If your business is about helping people optimize their quality of life, whether that’s through the healing, relaxing, or strengthening of the mind or body, your purpose is already aligned with the effects of CBD. Your customers are looking for it already. Let them see you, not a website, as a trusted resource.

How much do I have to buy?

There are no minimum order quantities, so you can buy one item if you’d like and try it for yourself before you sell to your customers. Have your staff, family, or your biggest skeptic give a product a whirl. After your customers know that you supply them, you’ll have a hard time keeping things in stock.

How long will it take to make my money back?

Everyone’s business model is different, but with prominent placement and educated consumers, we have had some of our retail suppliers make their money back in as little as 48 hours.

When can I expect it to arrive?

All in stock orders are shipped the next business day so you can get your products to your customers and your profits to yourself quickly.
